Well, this week has been kinda crazy. I went to the Gopher game Tuesday, we won and onto the Sweet Sixteen. We are gonna get in the Elite Eight, I'm tellin you. Papers galore this week. I had one practially all-nighter because I didn't do ANYTHING during spring break, but thats what you get. I got some emails from Amanda of possible connections in India, which will be great. I met with Gloria on Wednesday, and she really liked what I have done with my paper so far. Yay! I was really worried about what she would say or think, so I think the ball is finally rolling with me. Hopefully I will be able to get it done before the end of semester, but now the fam is going to Dallas and my wisdom teeth have to come out, so who really knows for sure.

I am soo exhausted. This week is Spring Break, so I went off to see the fam. I was planning to stay until Tues, but ended up getting duped into staying until Wednesday by an especially savvy guilt trip from Mom. Not that it was that bad, but I missed getting to lay around my place and have a relaxing day of chill time alone. I did, however, get to see two of the cutest children God ever created, Olivia and Ava. This was a formal introduction to the former, as even though she is six months old I had yet to meet her. I love Olivia to death, but I think Ava and I may just have a special bond: we share a birthday AND a middle name. I got a surprise when I logged into my bank account today. Turns out my advisor withheld my last timecard until I meet with her on my paper. I don't mind that much except a) she didn't tell me she was doing this and b) she MISSED our last meeting and barely apologized. I am also way behind in my research thanks to the aforemetioned con (from Mom). I have to haul butt to get back on track.

So I crawl out of bed this morning and bum around. Watching Friends and eating breakfast when my doorbell rings. I am a mess because I just got up, but its Emily! She comes in and we chat. She wanted to take me to the Cathedral Concert, so I get ready to go while she amuses herself at my place. The concert was ok. It was kinda long and a few of the music choices were MISTAKES but overall not bad. They did my favorite Ave Maria, the one from high school. Em and I went to Cafe' Latte afterwards (she had never been!). This GORGEOUS guy waited on us. He seemed soo nice and she and I just oohe and ahhed over him. His parents owned the place! AND he manages a restaurant across the street!! I miss getting to talk with her. She and I always manage to have fun, although we can never seem to get together to have it!

Woohoo! I just found a new way to put off studying for Hindi, a subject ironically enough I don't mind. Thanks to Brent for showing me what a great tool this would be for my upcoming trip to India. Since I have no clue what I am going to be up to or where I will be living in two months maybe this can be a constant. A note on the day: editorial in the Daily about how Kerry should pick a woman as his VP, then resign once he is in office. Funny, made me laugh, but not exactly the greatest way for a woman to retain office, on the coattails of a man. I think any liberated woman would agree.
Hello all.
